Veterinarian with a dog
  • How does Microchipping work?
Every chip has a unique number which enables instant identification of the animal and its owner, helping them reunite faster. The chip itself is not a tracking device and contains no data about the animal or the owner! To identify a chipped dog or cat, the microchip must be registered in the unified animal database...

  • What is Microchipping?
A microchip implant is an identifying integrated circuit that is typically placed under the skin of an animal. The chip, about the size of a large grain of rice, uses passive radio-frequency identification technology, and is also known as a PIT tag. Standard pet microchips are typically 11–13 mm long and 2 mm in diameter, and their installation is painless. Microchipping pets is an effective and completely safe method for quick and reliable identification. It is the fastest and easiest way of identifying lost pets at your local vet.
